Massage for your baby or toddler provides the perfect opportunity for you to learn to interpret your child's behaviour through massage. This can help to increase your own self confidence as a parent, to relax and help to decrease stress levels, and strengthen your relationship with your child.

Infant and baby massage is suitable and beneficial for children of any age and ability, and the instructional sessions will be tailored to your child's individual circumstances and needs.

I offer professional instruction, advice and support in the comfort of my own home. You will learn specific massage techniques, strokes and sequences that you can confidently perform for the benefit of your child's ongoing development. These gentle and nurturing massage routines include the legs, arms, back, abdomen, chest, hands, feet, and face, and can easily be incorporated into your daily routine, such as bath or bed time.

This is very dedicated, caring, and in-depth programme of instruction that is covered over three sessions to ensure you feel confident in your basic techniques.
Individual session content

An instructional session begins with a gentle relaxation to help calm and prepare you, before I take you through the basic massage strokes and sequences in stages. The gentle pace of the instruction enables you to practice and gain confidence massaging your child, whilst allowing your infant to gain trust and enjoyment from the touch.

As a Massage specialist in holistic treatment for general health, infertility, pregnancy and post natal, these sessions can also include Reflexology techniques on your infant's feet to help with symptoms that your infant may be suffering from.
Whilst you will receive an instructional manual, your sessions will be very much tailored to your infant's needs, abilities and development, as well as your own expectations as a parent. This provides you with a regular and strong foundation to build upon, as you gain skill and confidence in your ability to massage your infant for his or her greatest benefit.

Instruction manual, certificate and massage oil
You will take away with you a detailed instruction manual outlining all the strokes and sequences I teach you and a baby massage certificate as a keepsake.

Nourishing baby massage oil is available for you to purchase if you wish to do so at £2.00 a bottle to get you started on this fulfilling journey.

Confidential consultation & consent forms:
Upon booking your first Infant & Baby Massage session, you will need to complete and sign a confidential consultation form for you and your child. You will need to return the forms to me prior to your first session by Royal Mail post or email. A GP referral may be required in some individual cases, but this will be discussed upon receiving your forms. Please bring baby changing mat, soft towel and a cushion for you to sit / kneel on, payment in full is required at first session in the form of either cash or cheque. Please call me for a friendly chat to answer any questions you might have.
The minimum age requirement is after your child's 6-8 week health check. There is no upper age limit. Toddlers and older children are more than welcome!
